Mini Soft Pretzels

The bread machine can do a lot more than just make bread. Use the dough setting to help create the perfect fluffy soft pretzels!

When I was a teenager, going to the mall was one of the things my friends and I did on the weekends. We always made a stop at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and I still get one whenever I pass a booth. The airport by me has one in the terminal we usually fly from, so I can count on delicious soft pretzels when I take a trip.

Instead of having to go to the nearest mall, though, I wanted to make some on our own. The bread machine we have came with a recipe book and included one for soft pretzels.

Apparently, I’m not too great with pretzel dough, though, and forming and shaping it. Mine came out to be mini-sized and I liked them that way! They were thick, but it made them more doughy which was perfect.

Mini Soft Pretzels Leftovers

Leftover soft pretzels can be stored in a container at room temperature. They start to lose their fluffy soft texture after a day or two, so are best eaten quickly.
