I decided to give in to the Pinterest craze and try making my won Green Goddess Dressing. I’m not even sure why it’s called that. I get the green part since it’s a lot of green ingredients and the sauce is green at the end. But I don’t know the reason for the “goddess” part of the name.

Is it because it’s super healthy and makes you feel like a goddess? Maybe because it tastes heavenly? Either way, it’s a very versatile dressing. You could put this on a salad or over a grilled steak. That’s what we did with it. But here are a bunch of other ideas to use your green goddess dressing.

The dressing reminds me a bit of making chimichurri sauce. They have a very different flavor. But it’s a similar process and looks like it at the end.

Step by Step

Prepare all of your ingredients. This actually took more ingredients than I would think is in a regular salad dressing. But, in the end, they all come together to make delicious green goddess dressing.
