Frozen Foods in the Air Fryer

Convenience foods are easier when you prepare your frozen foods in the air fryer. If you know the conversion, it can be a quicker method.

When cooking in the air fryer, the general rule is to lower the heat and the temperature. But if you want to cook frozen foods in the air fryer and don’t have instructions, how do you know what to do?

When converting your temperature and time from a conventional oven to an air fryer, take the temperature and decrease it by 25F. Then cook for about 20% less time than the instructions.

Because an air fryer cooks from all sides, it heats food quicker than a conventional oven. It also uses less electricity and energy.

For example, if your food calls for 30 minutes in the oven at 350F, you’ll reduce that to 24 minutes at 325F. For a more precise calculator, you can try this website: https://www.airfryercalculator.com/
