Guacamole
Guacamole is a Tex-Mex staple, and so easy to make a quick batch at home. Use 6 simple ingredients and about 10 minutes for this chip dip.

Ingredients

lime
1
tsp
salt

red onion
finely diced
1
jalapeno pepper
seeded and minced, optional
1/2
bunch
cilantro
roughly chopped

Haas avocadoes
halved and seeded
Tortilla chips
Instructions
In a medium bowl, squeeze the juice from the lime and add salt
Add the diced onion and minced jalapeno, and let sit for 5 minutes
Stir in the cilantro
Using a large spoon, scoop the avocado flesh into the bowl and coarsely smash with a fork
Mix just enough to bring everything together, but not so much that the avocados resemble a puree, the guacamole should still be somewhat chunky
Season to taste with more salt and lime
Serve with tortilla chips
