Instructions
In a large saucepan, over medium heat, saute the onions in olive oil for 5 minutes or until soft
Add the garlic and saute for another 2 minutes
Mix in the rest of the ingredients and turn heat to high
Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium-high and simmer for 15 minutes
Notes
For a thicker sauce, simmer longer. For a thinner sauce, use an immersion blender until at desired consistency.
