Combine potatoes and cream cheese with some seasonings and broth to make a delicious soup that's perfect for the cooler weather.

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 lbs potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup onion minced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese chunked


  • Combine broth, potatoes, onion, and spices in large stock pot
  • Boil on medium heat until potatoes are tender
  • Smash a few of the potatoes to release their starch for thickening
  • Reduce heat to low
  • Add cream cheese
  • Stir frequently until cheese is melted
