French Toast

French Toast is an easy recipe to make for breakfast and doesn't take too many ingredients. It's a great way to use any almost-stale bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 slices bread

Instructions

  • Heat a flat pan over medium heat
  • In a wide shallow bowl combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract
  • Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides and place on the skillet for 2-3 minutes
  • Once the bread has browned on the bottom, flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes
