Cheesy Garlic Bread

Use only 5 common ingredients to turn a loaf of French bread into an easy, delicious side dish perfect for any pasta meal.

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1-2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tsp parsley


  • Slice the bread into pieces about 1/2″ thick
  • Spread a bit of butter on each slice
  • Sprinkle each slice with a very small amount of garlic powder
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and move to a cooking stone or a baking sheet
  • Set the oven to broil and cook for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and starts to brown
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parsley
