A Simple Strawberry Yogurt Parfait is the perfect way to start your morning or have a healthy afternoon snack. Top it with granola for supreme taste.
Jump to RecipeOur favorite fruit is strawberries at our house. We all love strawberries with any meal. Because of this, a Simple Strawberry Yogurt Parfait makes a perfect breakfast.
When strawberries are in season, the price goes way down and the size of the berries goes way up. We will buy them when they are off-season, but can’t keep them in stock at our house during peak season.
We like to add a bit of granola to our Simple Strawberry Yogurt Parfait, but it’s not necessary. I like to make homemade granola most of the time. If we don’t have it, I buy oats and honey cereal and it makes great granola.
We ate delicious granola when we were on vacation last summer, but I haven’t been able to find anything similar. All they told us at the restaurant was “help granola”. I’ve looked online and in store for some, and the few we’ve tried haven’t been the same. For now, I stick to my homemade granola most of the time.

Step by Step
Scoop about 1 cup of yogurt into a mason jar or bowl. If you are making these to save for later, or want something to grab quickly, a glass jar works best. If you are planning to eat immediately, then a bow works fine. The boys wanted theirs right away, so we made theirs in a bowl for them.
Cut up the strawberries and place them on top of the yogurt.

Top with a bit of granola and serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3-4 days.

We all love strawberries too, so I’m sure this strawberry yogurt parfait would go down a storm in our house! It would make a lovely summer snack…
It’s a perfect snack for the summer! Especially if you can get fresh strawberries at that time.
The simpler the better! I love parfait and I will be making these with soy yogurt! I have a bag of frozen strawberries in my fridge that I can use up as well! Perfect!
Oh, sounds like great timing then! It’s a delicious way to use up those frozen strawberries for sure.
I’ll take an easy meal any day of the week and with school around the corner this is bound to be popular. Both my kids love yogurt and this is a sure way to give it a healthy and hearty punch.
We love having these ready for school mornings. They whole family enjoys it and it’s quick plus healthy.
Ah! This is my favorite go-to recipe when I’m out of options. I also loved the other parfait recipe you posted recently. My daughter loved it.
It’s perfect to throw together when you need something quick. I’m glad y’all enjoyed it!
My kids are always requesting homemade parfait and I love that this recipe uses fresh strawberries! It looks easy to make and perfect for my kids!
We always have a container (or two) of fresh strawberries in the refrigerator when they are in season. My boys request this one a lot, too!
Strawberries are my son’s favorite! I just bought a bunch today! This might have to be breakfast tomorrow.
My boys devour strawberries, too.
This is my favorite dessert that I eat almost every day. Sometimes I put banana slices or grated apples instead of strawberries. The simpler, the better.
I’ve tried bananas in it, but never apple. I’ll have to give that a try next time!
I love that it is kid friendly to make. I also love any excuse to use mason jars.
Me, too! I have so many mason jars and plain glass jars that I save any time I buy food in glass jars.
Simple, healthy, easy and delicious. Strawberries in the summer are the best. Your son is preparing to be zn excellent chef. He has those strawberries finely cut.
He loves to work in the kitchen with me and is always learning new skills. It’s so great to be able to share the time together and teach him a vital life skill!
This is basically my breakfast every morning, when it’s not oatmeal weather. I usually skip the granola unless my hubby has just made a fresh batch of his signature recipe. And while I have plenty of strawberries in May-June, I tend to move through the seasons with the fruits – so then blueberries, then raspberries, and right now I’m mostly doing peaches. #yum
That sounds great! I love fresh granola, it’s such a great addition to parfaits like this. And going through the seasonal fruit is the best way to always have a fresh taste and the cheapest produce!
I love Parfait and especially in the summer time. I bet this one is equally divine.
It’s always a good option in the summer!
My 3 year old cousin loved it! 10/10 will make again.
Perfect! I’m glad y’all enjoyed it 🙂
