Take your chocolate chip cookies to a whole new level. Add oreos in for Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies, a sweet tooth’s delight!
Jump to RecipeLife is all about balance. Sometimes we eat really well with grilled chicken salads and lean and green meals. Other times we go all out with the dessert and make oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies. I love homemade chocolate chip cookies, they are one of my favorite cookies. But add an oreo in the middle and they are even better!
When we were in college, we weren’t so worried about the number of calories in our desserts. We ate all the sugary foods then ran it off in a game of ultimate frisbee and called it a day. My boys can do this, but we can’t. Last time I made these oreo stuffed cookies I brought some in to share with my coworkers to help finish them up. I got so many compliments about how yummy they were, but so sweet they could only have one.
The first time we made this I used regular oreos but it needed a bit more. The next time we made it with the double-stuffed oreos and that was much better.
The dough of any classic chocolate chip cookies would work. You could use your favorite homemade cookie dough or a premade cookie dough would also work.
Make sure to use the muffin pan for the recipe. If you try using a cookie sheet they will spread out too much and not keep their shape. To make them release even easier, you can use parchment paper in the bottom of the pan.
My boys love to dip these in a tall glass of milk when they enjoy them for dessert. We’ve also said they would make a great option for bake sales since they are large and would sell for a decent price. And it’s something different from the typical cookie recipes you see out there.

Repeat for all of the remaining dough.

Oreo-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies Leftovers
Storage: Store any leftover oreo chocolate chip cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
Reheating: While not necessary, I like to microwave my cookies for about 10 seconds. It makes them warm and they keep the texture of chewy cookies that I love.
Freezing: To freeze, place them in a single layer on a cookie sheet until they are frozen. Then you can move to a freezer container. For best results, thaw them individually then reheat them in the microwave or oven once thawed.
