Perfect for an appetizer or dinner, Hawaiian Lit’l Smokies is easy to make and only takes a few hours in the slow cooker.
Jump to RecipeNothing could be easier than using the slow cooker for a delicious meal. I’ve made a few Hawaiian-inspired recipes before, and this was just as tasty as the others. Using pineapple and red bell peppers together give any meal that sweet and tangy flavor.
We bought a bunch of Lit’l Smokies for our scout campout, and the boys really enjoyed them. So when we had some extras, we decided to cook them in the slow cooker. I also had some extra Caribean Jerk marinade in the refrigerator to use. It has similar flavors so went well.
I’ve always liked slow cooker meals for their ease. Especially ones like this that you only have to dump it all in and let it cook.

Hawaiian Lit’l Smokies FAQs
This will partially depend on the brand you purchase. We typically buy Hillshire Farms brand Beef Lit’l Smokies. These are tiny sausages made from beef. They are great for appetizers or to cook up with breakfast.
You can find them in the cold meat section at your local grocery store. Most of the time, they are near the hot dogs, bacon, and prepackaged deli meat.

I have a 6 quart slow cooker. This is the exact one I have here (just in a different color since they don’t make it in silver anymore) and it works perfectly: https://amzn.to/3KI38i9
