2016 Garden Update #2: We started an Herb Garden too

I have been begging Justin to help me build something to do an herb garden for a few weeks now, and it just hasn’t happened. Well this weekend was the community garage sale, and my neighbor was selling this bookshelf that was treated wood. So I bought it from her. We put it in the back yard right next to the garden, and attached it to the fence and the garden sides to keep it stable.

Off to the store we went, and bought the pots, potting soil, and herb seeds I wanted. We screwed the pots onto the shelves so they couldn’t fall over, then filled them with soil and planted our seeds. Here’s hoping we start having delicious herbs to use in the kitchen soon!
