Delightfully Tangy Chicken Piccata

Today’s post is being hosted on another blog called Marjie’s Simple Word. She sent me an email telling me that she often tries my recipes, and would love to host one of them on her blog. I love knowing that I’ve helped others, so it was wonderful to get that message. I sent her my recipe for Delightfully Tangy Chicken Piccata.

Marjie and I have been part of a blogging group together for years now. It’s so fun to get to know others around the world with similar interests. Even if we never meet in-person, we still get to follow each other through our group and our blogs.

Here is a quick excerpt from the intro to the post:

Chicken Piccata combines the zest of lemons with the pungent flavor of capers in a delicious pan sauce served over pan-fried chicken breast.

Now, that may sound like a lot of work, but this recipe can be made in about 30 minutes and is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Serve the chicken piccata over rice or pasta for a more complete meal and to soak up all the delicious flavors of the sauce.

The lemons and capers give the dish a unique flavor. It’s tangy but still delicious!

To view more, please head over to Marije’s Simple Word and read my entire post there! Also, check out the rest of Marjie’s blog as she has many insightful posts that always get me thinking. I look forward to her weekly thoughts posts and love to journal with these ideas in mind.

Marjie also posts a meal or recipe at least once per week. They are always so mouthwatering and I’ve made a few of them myself! If you enjoy food, it’s a great place to find some other wonderful family meal ideas.

    1. I’m not sure the best place to find capers there. But I like making mashed potatoes as a side and I put a bit of the extra sauce from the chicken on the potatoes.
