When we have friends over, sometimes it’s nice to have a yummy drink. Especially when it’s warm outside, we need a good way to cool off. Before we had an outdoor party recently, I made some amaretto punch slush.

The punch is very easy to make and stays nice and cool for a while. It was almost like having a slushy. Before it really melted, we needed a spoon for it. By the end of the afternoon, it was perfect for sipping on.

Be careful, though. This can be a dangerous drink! It’s so fruity you hardly notice the alcohol in it.

Amaretto Punch Slush Step by Step

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 oz orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 46 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 bottle amaretto
  • 2 liters 7-Up

Amaretto Punch Slush Leftovers

Once the punch has thawed, I would not recommend refreezing it. We tried and it wasn’t the same the next time. This makes a lot, so you can freeze it in multiple containers to only take out what you need.

  1. I’m a massive fan of a cocktail slush, and this looks so yummy. I need to bust out our slush puppy maker and try out some concoctions x

  2. 5 stars
I do love the sound of this. We really enjoy slush cocktails but I’ve never made my own before. I bet it tastes amazing, I love that it has pineapple for a tropical flavour.

  3. Slush drinks like this are PERFECT for the heat that we’ve been living through lately – between Extreme Heat Warnings and Humidex Warnings, we’re looking for any possible solution to stay cool. I am going to make up a few of these for our next backyard hang-out. I’m sure the neighbours will love it!
